I'm a resident DJ on www.bassjunkeesradio.com and part of BBLU DJ Agency. I have played out in night clubs in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Brierley Hill, Darlaston, Walsall and local pubs (willenhall) for party's and radio events. Fresh tracks every week is a must to stay on top of the game so my collection is large and smashing the wheels of steel week in week out! Jump-up and Grime is my favorite styles but rolling, dark and heavy is also very much in my collection, variety is a must in this game!!! I also produce my own tracks on Reason4, this is more addicted than turntables!! How i got into Drum n Bass.... Lets start in 1997 with Micky Finn's 'Bad Ass' and 'Five on it' this is what got me into Drum n Bass and the influence by DJ Replay took me to my first rave Dreamscape 26. Had the best time of my life and knew this was the music for me!!! The next rave was Dreamscape 27 which was ten times better, what a set from Dr S Gachet and MC Stevie Hyper D (R.I.P) but there was better to come, 1998 Valentines One Nation, Stevie Hyper D lead five MC's all with a mic each on stage as the massive classic 'Turbulence' was born and got a rewind from every DJ. The best rave I've been to til present day! what a way to celebrate your 21st Birthday DJ Replay. By mid 1999 i lost interest in Drum n Bass as the style had totally changed, the classic beat as we know it had gone and as MC Stevie Hyper D had died in 1998 it had a massive effect on the scene. Hip Hop was my vibe then (massive shout-out to marshell mathers) till late 2000 where i got back into Drum n Bass, but Hip Hop still was very much a favorite as Dr Dre's album 2001 smashed the Hip Hop scene. This is when i brought my first set of deck's, by far the hardest thing I've ever tried and self taught so it took time to get my first mix in. The DJ i look-up to is DJ Astro for his efforts and Passion! Big-ups bruv! and MC Stevie Hyper D for outstanding lyrics, by far the best that's ever been!!! R.I.P
