wireless audio from usb?

So, is there such a thing?
I want to transmit the audio from my laptop via USB to my amplifier.

A USB soundcard does half the job, the USB bit. but I still then require wire to connect to my amplifiers input.

so is there a thing that i can plug in my usb, wich will transmit, and then have a recieving part connected to my amp? so i can move my laptop about the house, but still get bassjunkees in full bassheavy glory.

any ideas?

hilton park sevice station ,M6,junction 10a northbound the petrol station does fm tranmitters for audio ,the truckers get a discount ,sorry for any inconvenience, but ask for DAVE he sort ya somut out pot noodle sound systems

I did buy a Rocket Fm usb thing once, similar to the one you posted link to on ebay.
But it definately didn't do the 50ft it said it would.
And even on a fairly decent tuner downstairs, I struggled to pick up the signal, couldn't get stereo.
I also tried a netgear mp101, which links to your home network enabling you to access playlist on a remote computer. BUT I COULDN'T LISTEN TO LIVE STREAMS, IT WAS UNSTABLE(would lose connection) and sound quality was compromised due to compression. I did find a way of listening to a few live streams, but you had to pay for the service? er, no.

hilton park service station, M6? bit far, and i'm not sure i need to broadcast to the whole estate

Didn't really want FM i had to pick up on a tuner, this is the digital age, must be something nicer. ?

You can use the twisted USB wire cable for the transmission of the data between the Laptop and the amplifier. You can also create the custom cable by your self if you are having the two cable one is the cable with the USB pin and the other with the 3.5mm jack. You can connect the pins with each other by connecting the data transfer wires with of the USB cable to wires of the 3.5mm jack.
