We've been using a Samson R11. Found it at a wedding, guess the wedding dj forgot it so I took it. Its nothing fancy but it does the job. Check your mixers' output spec's, you may just be pushing too much thru it at once making the mic sound quiet. Thats what our problem was, our old mixer just couldnt handle music and a mic at the same time. Either the music would get distorted or the mic would be quiet... What kind of mixer do you use? Does it have a talkover function? Also have you tried other mic cords? I took one of my cords apart once and the solder points had broken so the wires were just barely making a connection. |
